Terminal 3 (T3) at Heathrow Airport

Heathrowhotels.com makes booking a hotel at Terminal 3 easy

Terminal 3 was originally known as The Oceanic Terminal when it first opened in 1961 for the purpose of handling long haul flight departures. The terminal is currently the Heathrow base for Virgin Atlantic amongst other international airlines.

The terminal was renamed Terminal 3 in 1968 and two years later work was completed on a new arrivals building complete with moving walkways. Since then, other improvements have been made including the redevelopment of the forecourt to ease traffic congestion and the provision of a canopy to the front of the terminal building and a pedestrianised plaza for the enjoyment of passengers passing through.

Directions to Terminal 3 Heathrow

Exit the M4 at junction 4 or the M25 at junction 15 and follow the signs. The postcode for satellite navigation users is TW6 1QG.

Dropping off passengers at T3

Like all other terminals waiting is not permitted on the terminal forecourt itself but there is a four lane drop off area for passengers to set down and unload their luggage. You are able to drop someone off quickly in this area as long as you do not leave your vehicle.

Picking up passengers from T3

When meeting someone from a flight that is returning to T3, the Short Term Car Park 3 must be used as waiting on the forecourt is not allowed for the purposes of collecting recently arrived passengers. The car park is within a few minutes walking distance from the terminal entrance / exit.

Stay overnight and park your car at T3

An increasingly popular option for parking at Heathrow is to book a hotel Stay and Park package deal. This allows you to stay overnight at an airport hotel and park your car for the duration of your trip. Heathrowhotels.com offers a selection of these deals where parking is located on-site at the hotel.
